I was out shining up my 2020 Rebel today she noticed that the driver side fender was sitting higher than the hood. Upon further inspection it looks like the whole fender is coming away from the truck. Posting a couple pics. Front view you might have to zoom to see the difference but it is noticeable head on. Included the passenger side for comparison.

Has anyone heard about or seen this? Is there a thread I can follow?

Truck has just over 11k and I kind of baby it so I know I didn't cause this.

I'm not near my truck to look, but does the hood have the rubber adjustable leveling screws or whatever to get the hood the same height as the fwnder... it mightve slowly screwed down over time

Not sure on that but I will check

Bolts loosen on the fender? Is there any marks on the lower side of the fenders or the tire, indicating that someone may have hit your fender when you were parked somewhere?

No marks anywhere... here's a closeup too of the gap

It sure seems like you could raise the hood by using the adjuster on that side.

Are you thinking that this gap has changed since you bought the vehicle, or that perhaps you've just noticed it?

In any event there is a snubber at each end of the grill for adjusting the hood height. Maybe that's all it needs. As to the non-uniform gap along the top of the fender line and hood, I don't know. Maybe, as someone suggested, the fender mounting bolts are loose? Has the hood shifted more to the right fender?

Best regards,
Dusty

Use this to adjust the height of the front left corner of the hood to match the fender. There is one on the right side for that side of the hood. They are plastic on our trucks, not rubber. There is a Hex on it but you should be able to turn it by hand. Clockwise lowers the hood and counter-clockwise raises it.

I will try making that adjustment tomorrow. Would love if it were that simple. I touch the truck a lot detailing it and this is the first I am noticing this. I can't swear one way or another if it has always been this way. The hood itself looks straight and center to me but I will check that too.

If the fender moves when you push on it, then the front bolts are loose. Check all the bolts on the fender to frame.

Yeah this was my thinking. There's a clear gap, not just a hood height difference. When you push on it does the gap close like the passenger side?
