One of our forum member suggested it as that’s what he had on his. I listened to a ton of exhausts, tried out a couple and felt the Magnaflow as suiting my needs.

No I meant Magnaflow and that was the one I was going to buy before my wife surprised me with it lol. I wanted a catback Magnaflow paired with 5” black tips.

I am sorry I am confused when you said Magnaflow as suiting your needs but you have a Borla exahust. I currently have the Magnaflow but really wondering if the Borla you listed is better? Do you have a P/N?

Not that I am aware of as this was done at a shop for $40.00 including my Carven tips being added.

At idle is it as quiet or quieter or louder than stock? When your driving at 70mph same question? And then same question when your accelerating?

My Carven ceramic black exhaust tips are being delivered tomorrow. Does anyone know if the tips come with new clamps, or do you reuse the factory clamps after you remove the OEM chrome tips?

Thanks.

Hey what retailer and how much? Thank you and have a good one
I purchased directly from Carven. The price for the black ones, which included shipping, was $229.00. I think the chrome ones are $179.00.

I just tried to install the black Carven tips but the OEM clamps that are supposed to be reused don’t seem to work with the Carven tips. The flanges on the end of the Carven tips aren’t the same as the flanges on the OEM tips. Not quite as “fat” if that makes sense. And I couldn’t get the clamps to tighten enough to securely hold the Carven tips in place. Just tried one side and I’ve put the OEM tip back on because I need to run some some errands.

Anyone have any thoughts? Perhaps it’s just user error on my part? Or maybe Carven sent me the wrong tips? Maybe I should just let an exhaust shop install them? Here’s a pic of the tips that shows the flanges.
