Voice To Text

Hearing that you can't voice text in new Ram. In my old GMC Acadia I can hit the speak button on the steering wheel and say "Text Jeremy Mobile" and walla, it says what would you like to say and then I speak and it goes into a text.

Can anyone speak to this? I love this feature.

I do it through CarPlay, and I know it's also supposed to be possible with Siri Eyes Free...but I haven't tested that.

Does your phone have to be plugged in or just connected via bluetooth?

For CarPlay, yes. For Siri Eyes Free, no.
