Hey everyone,

Been lurking for a while, finally decided to make an account and post. I've got a 2020 Bighorn, and like many of you, I'm ready to upgrade the stock halogen headlights. The output is just not cutting it for me anymore.

In my research on here and YouTube, the VLAND headlights keep popping up. A lot of the reviews are overwhelmingly positive and some people absolutely swear by them. The look is a massive upgrade, especially the matrix projectors and the startup animation.

I like the looks of these ones:

Here's my hesitation though... for every 20 great reviews, I'll find one or two from guys who had concerns. I've read a few mentions of condensation forming inside the lens after a car wash or heavy rain, and a couple of posts about LEDs burning out after a year or so. It's hard to tell if those are just isolated incidents or something to be genuinely worried about.

So I wanted to ask the community for some real-world feedback. For those of you running VLANDs for more than six months or a year:

  • How have they held up? Any moisture issues at all?
  • Is the light output a significant improvement over the stock halogens?
  • Was the install truly plug-and-play with the adapter harnesses?
  • Any regrets or things you wish you knew before buying?
I'm really on the fence. They look great, but I want to make sure I'm spending my money on something that will last.

Appreciate any advice you guys can offer. Thanks!

I don’t have these but did run similar COPLUS headlights for a 2016 Colorado I used to own. The build seem similar and I never had an issue with them. I suggest you get them. They’ll be a massive upgrade over stock and like you said the reviews are overwhelmingly positive. No manufacturing process is perfect which is why you likely see a negative review from time to time.

In the off chance do you experience a moisture issue that’s really easy to fix with some silicone and a hair dryer.
