Just had 4 venom power 33x12.5x18 put on the ram, The mechanic did say they were not the easiest tire to balance. I will post again after a couple thousand miles and give a update. As far as looks! well I think they look great, definitely some highway noise but seems to ride OK so far. The tires were only $987 so I went in understanding I was not buying the best but wanted to give them a try. I will definitely keep an update and let everyone know how they hold up, I have a 2.5 hour ride to P.A today so I should get a better idea how they run while under load pulling my boat.

I took my set off only after 500 miles. Could not get them to balance, way too loud and rode like crap. Maybe I just had a bad set, but they weren't for me. Seems to be a lot of mixed reviews on them. My take, they're cheap for a reason.

Which ones did you get? 4 ply or 10 ply?

we're you able to return them? Interested if the company stands behind the product? I just made a 5 hours round trip pulling a 20ft mastercraft boat, and they rode nice. I mean not as quiet as the standard Goodyear road tire , but that's expected from the hybrid xt terra hunter. So far I am happy. minimal road noise hit speeds around 75 mph no problems.

I've heard/read nothing but good things about them as a great option at the price. Keep us posted as to your experience with them... they definitely look good.

I just ended up selling them, I lost about $50 overall.

If you're in a state that sees a lot of winter weather, they may not be the greatest with their lack of siping. Probably be fine in the south or places that don't freeze too often.

If you're looking for a BFG lookalike that costs a bit less than BFGs, you may want to look at General Grabber ATX. They have the 3PMSF.

I will be getting some standard load range ATs to keep the ride from being so harsh. Don't need the 10 plys.

IMO, a lot of people overthink the "harshness" of an E rated or other LT tire's ride. On my Tacoma, I ran D, C, and E rated tires. No huge difference in ride. I just swapped my OEM Bridgestone P tires to E rated tires last week. Rides mostly the same.

Need is a different story-most of us in half tons don't need the LT tires and are just fine with Ps.

I agree with overthinking ride quality. I ran E tires on a two door Jeep and it was fine. If they are balanced properly they will do ok.

Don't know about these tires in particular though. Good to hear a budget option.
