Valvebody replacement

Anyone else had their valve body replaced per dealership warranty?

Took my truck in for having “sluggish acceleration and per the driveshaft clunk issue.

Service advisor just messaged me today saying that the technician recommends to replace the valve body on the transmission and that the request has been sent to the “factory” for approval.

Original complaint was the “lag” from a dead stop and when driving normal. Start/stop works flawless but I did start noticing a sort of long lag after.

Took around 2 weeks to get approval from the factory. sluggish issie and driveshaft clunk is gone. no issues anymore after replacement of valvebody and pcm update.

guess I've been under a rock ... didn't hear about either issue. Mine is so far outta warranty I would do it myself if necessary. Glad to hear yours is good
