Apple car play froze and now it doesn’t charge, any ideas?

Maybe a fuse blew somehow. Charge cable could have had a short in it and grounded out. Just a though.

If your in a hot climate it’s a common issue for the media hub to fail. Mine were failing at 300 miles in AZ. Haven’t had time to take mine in, but many have had dealership swap with mixed results.

Normally comes back on after AC runs 20-30 minutes or more.

This is good to know for me. I'm in AZ as well but I honestly never plug my phone in.

Seems all of us in AZ with 2019 got the short end of the stick. My “Media Hub” has been replaced twice to no avail. One more time and it’s lemon law territory.
