I've been looking at UCA's and I've seen 100's if not 1000's. My eyes are hurting I've seen so many. WoW...
Do any of the aftermarket UCA unites use the factory joint itself? Are they replaceable or do you buy a complete new control arm when it's worn out again?

Typically after market UCA'S don't use the factory ball joint. However, they ALL have replaceable ball joints. Some UCA'S use special sizes/types vs more common replacements.

For instance, my BDS UCA'S had a torn boot on one of the ball joints. They sent me two new ones. They also provided a part number to get a replacement at any local parts store. Raybetos, Moog, etc.

I had ICON UCA'S on my my23 Ram. Those used a delta joint which needed to be purchased through ICON.

Thank you. I figured they were replaceable I was just was unsure what with. It sounds like I need to get the answer before I purchase. I had a BDS on my F350 before I sold it. I'm not an expert but I'd vouch for BDS quality
