I have the etorque and yeah i dont like it for the potential issues and replacement parts i might need but i do like the smooth shifts on the transmission , and the regen braking but thats it. I think about everyday of trading in but i have done so many upgrades to this truck i hate to think about not getting any money for my sweat and labor. Plus im not to sure about the Hurricane longevity yet. Im hoping Ram either puts a 392 in a ram or updates with a new 5.7 hemi in the future.E torque generator went out this summer, at around 107k miles. Those are expensive and unobtainable. Luckily, found the thread here detailing how to tear it apart and replace just the bad bearing. However, I never want an E torque motor again. Added complexity & expense for really no benefit.
