I have a 2019 Ram 1500 5.7. I’m not sure what this is, it’s hanging below the tailgate. Thanks for any help.

Previous owner probably added an additional brake or turn signal light its not OEM equipment.

Useless junk. Remove it and any associated wiring. Hopefully, whoever installed it, didnt cut or splice into factory wiring, and it's as simple as removing an adapter plug
