Unistrut/Powerstrut BUG rails

Anyone do there own bed rails using unistrut or powerstrut rails instead of the factory rails to increase utility and custom accessory parts availability? Thinking of doing this in lieu of the BUG rails if my order ever shows up.

I'm interested to see how this turns out. Can you get unistrut in rectangle, and not square?

Yes, it comes in 15/16” thick by 1-5/8” wide and 1-5/8”x1-5/8”. Nuts and components, other than the trolleys, work universally across both sizes. Hoping I can just get a nutsert kit and put in the rails. Figure I could get it done and dusted for under $100 both sides and have way more options for attachments.
