I have a service air bag light that came on after I installed a brake controller in my 2022 ram 1500. I did see a wire that I never unplugged from anything. It was just hanging there
Just took the truck to the dealer and they said no power to the air bag system control module. Does this have anything to do with it?

It shouldn't. Send me clearer pictures of that connector and its location and I'll tell you what its for. But for Air Bag, anything the air bag system goes through has a Yellow connector. Both connectors that plug into the Air Bag Control Module are Yellow.
Check Fuse 28, 10A fuse. FUSED IGNITION RUN/START CONTROL OUTPUT goes into the air bag module on C1, Pin 10. Power originates from ASSEMBLY-POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER-INTERIOR C1 Pin 5.
Check Fuse F65, 10A fuse. FUSED IGNITION RUN CONTROL OUTPUT goes into the air bag module on C1, Pin 20. Power Originates from ASSEMBLY-POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER-INTERIOR C1 Pin 11.

Thank you.

So if you took it to dealer, did you not want them to fix it?

They couldn't fix it that day. They worked on it for a hour. Told me to bring it back so they can schedule several hours to track down the issue. At $175 an hour it's going to add up quick. That's not including any parts. It goes back in Monday. I hope they can figure it out quickly.
