When I bought my 22 limited, it was set to dark mode. I changed it to auto so it would be light during the day, and notice on the radio/now playing widget the album art throws an ugly square overlay over the memory channel buttons. This is not present in dark mode. I tried a radio reset but nothing changed. I tried deleting it and creating a new screen and it doesn't matter where I place the now playing widget, it's always there in half screen mode. It doesn't matter what theme I'm on either. Is this a glitch with Uconnect5? I'd like to use the light theme during the day because the nav screen looks better with color rather than all dark shades which can't be seen with sunglasses on. Minor annoyance I know, but wondering if anyone else has this same issue?

slight confused here...
the "ugly square overlay over the memory channel buttons" do you mean the light gray squares around the preset channels? That is by design so you know that's where the buttons are.
or do you mean the album art itself? since I see you have album art on the day mode and no album art on the night mode. i THINK you can turn album art off in the settings, but I'm not sure - i never had an issue with that.

btw nice a fellow The Highway listener. I alternate between The Highway and Prime Country lol

I don’t see anything wrong with the display unless I’m not understanding what you are seeing. I do agree with the OP about the map display is easier to see in the daylight mode with sunglasses on. What I did was to create 2 profiles so I just switch back to the other mode when I want to. Basically though, I mostly use Apple or Google maps which don’t give me the same issue seeing with sunglasses on.

Sorry for any confusion, these two pictures are only a few seconds apart. I didn't change any settings other than switch from light mode to dark mode. I didn't even think about it but you're right in light mode there is album art in that big Grey square. In dark mode, no album art unless I switch to the full screen media page, which shows album art in both modes. In light mode as seen with the album art, it just looks funky with the album overlaid the station buttons. Maybe my real issue is no album art in dark mode when using the half screen widget.
