UConnect WiFi Question

I’ve searched but could not find anything addressing if I can connect my travel trailers smart tv to the trucks WiFi to stream movies? If I understand it correctly I would need to have cell service and be within range of the WiFi. Also, does the truck need to be running or ignition on to access WiFi?

Yes, if you can get the cell service activated on Uconnect, you can use the wifi like you asked. And yes, you need to have at least in accessory mode. If the Uconnect system isn't on, it won't work.

If it's the AT&T plan, it's cheaper to get it through your current phone plan. that's what I did
