Getting the same error many seem to get. I’m told to let it run 20 minutes in open air—-did that 5 times, connect to Wi-Fi and let it run for 20 minutes—-did that three different times on three different WiFi’s. Tried hard reset of Uconnect (press volume and channel selector for 20 seconds—-still no luck.

Anybody know how to FORCE an update to Uconnect? What else should I try? Thanks in advance!

I've been having this issue for a couple months now and had the dealership check it out at my last oil change. It sounds like they are seeing this happen a lot and there isn't a solution. RAM supposedly tells them it's an issue where the truck loses wifi or cell signal but the service advisor knows that's a lie. He suspects there needs to be a software update.

He told me right now there is nothing that can be done. Fortunately it's not affecting anything other than annoying the crap out of me by popping up several times every trip.

I've also noticed my recirculate button will randomly flash 3 times. They also didn't know what was causing that issue.

We can find the update you are looking for. We just need your VIN if the radio is from factory, if you upgraded your radio then I'd need the part number and application number from the radio.
Check out this post where we give a bit more details about the updating processes for Uconnect3,4,5

If I updated my uconnect 4 8.4” to uconnect 5 12.1” can you still provide a manual software update? I upgraded the radio knowing I wouldn’t be able to update over WiFi but now the continual pop up telling me I may have an update is driving me nuts…😒🤦🏻‍♂️🤣

Yes, we need the part number of the Uconnect module you are using. If you have the VIN of the donor vehicle that is helpful but not needed in most cases with the part number of the module. Its on the sticker of the module. Also go into settings and get the current build number.

I just purchased a 2025 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport. I tried setting up the wifi hotspot. Every time I went to make an account it said error. So I called bell (In Canada). After numerous calls to bell and AT&T. Bell had no clue what I was talking about. Even had a bell employee try to sell me an wifi modem/router you'd use in your house. Then finally AT&T connected me to someone from bell who told me they stopped doing the wifi hot spot a while ago and that I'm basically SOL. Im pissed because I have that passenger interactive display and wanted it for road trips so my kids had wifi on their phones and Ipads. I hope there's a way around it. But AT&T and Bell are the only ones I know who deal with it and they both cant help me. So 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ if anyone has any advice. That would be cool haha. I talked to the dealership I got it from and they said they'd ask around tomorrow then let me know. But

I was having the same issue since the last software update ota. Last week a uconnect flash upgrade occured and no software ota. Same version prior to the flash. Error message is gone!

I have a 2025 1500, it now has a little over 3000 miles and it is back in the shop for the 4th problem, this is the 12th brand new ram i've purchased and most likely the last.

I have a 2023 1500 with the 8.4 screen and it just started yesterday morning 10/21. Never had any issues with my 2019.
When it comes up I hit ok and it goes away. Everything seams to work but sometimes the overhead blue and red buttons light up with a red light but not all the time. Went to the dealer today and they said $285 and need it for 2-3 days to figure out what is wrong. I figured I would trouble shoot it myself through here and youtube first. Sounds like it got an update it doesn't like.
If you disconnect the battery or reset the Uconnect does it go back to the original software?
