Trying to figure out if my issue is the radio itself or antenna. Here is what's going on. All suggestions welcome.
About a month ago Sirius reception started going in/out. Talked to tech support who refreshed signal and did some other stuff. Now Sirius out 100% of the time. Tried soft & hard radio reset (no luck). Today I disconnected battery for an hour and the issues persist. The clock no longer sets itself to the proper time and the compass isnt showing a reading. I have a 2019 Bighorn w/no Navigation so I just noticed the compass not showing a reading after the battery disconnect.
Any luck getting the head unit/shark fin antenna replaced somewhere OTHER than a dealership (like a place that installs aftermarket stereo systems)? If it is the head unit and I have to buy one is there any reason I shouldn't just go to the 12" screen instead of replacing with a other 8.4"?
