Trying to figure out if my issue is the radio itself or antenna. Here is what's going on. All suggestions welcome.

About a month ago Sirius reception started going in/out. Talked to tech support who refreshed signal and did some other stuff. Now Sirius out 100% of the time. Tried soft & hard radio reset (no luck). Today I disconnected battery for an hour and the issues persist. The clock no longer sets itself to the proper time and the compass isnt showing a reading. I have a 2019 Bighorn w/no Navigation so I just noticed the compass not showing a reading after the battery disconnect.

Any luck getting the head unit/shark fin antenna replaced somewhere OTHER than a dealership (like a place that installs aftermarket stereo systems)? If it is the head unit and I have to buy one is there any reason I shouldn't just go to the 12" screen instead of replacing with a other 8.4"?

Your not getting satellite the lower stations? I be interested if you are getting the higher streaming stations like 754.

I'm experiencing the exact same issue right now! It started about a month ago. I will be watching this post closely.

So far, I haven't had a problem with the radio on my Ram. However, I did have an issue with the radio on my Durango. The clock would not keep the correct time, the navigation stopped working and the screen showed "No GPS signal." Also, the upper left corner of the screen delaminated. My dealership replaced the radio, and all is now working correctly. It wasn't the antenna at all. BTW, a CJDR dealership cannot order in a "new" radio. They can only obtain a refurbished radio from Chrysler. My replacement looks and functions like new which is great. The radio just took about 4-5 months to get it into the parts department.

4-5 months to get a Durango radio. Service manager said if I am going to replace the one in my Ram. He could get it in 2-3 weeks, but never said it woud be refurbished for almost $3000.00. Then only a 2 month warranty, which don't sit right with me. Right now that's my first half school tax money. Once I add another $738.00. Which I got to pay by Feb 10th .
