This might help solve some headaches (and cash) for someone out there. I have a 2022 1500 Bighorn 4WD eTorque V6 that I purchased in April of 2025 with 45K on the clock. Everything has been good until now. Current mileage is 72K, so well outside the warranty. My Uconnect 5 suddenly decided to quit working last week. The dealer wanted $300 for a diagnostic and said they would go from there. NO, THANK YOU.

I did some additional research and tried something that I had read, and it worked like a charm!!
I simply disconnected the red and black cables from the battery and connected them together with a jumper cable. Left it to stew for about an hour while I made dinner and ate. Came back and reconnected the cables to the battery and hey presto, problem solved.
