Uconnect apps in 8.4 Non Nav

I have the 2020 Ram 1500 Night Edition, can anyone tell me if you are able to take advantage of the Uconnect apps with the 8.4 non nav radio? When I press the Uapps button it just shows system features, heated seats, steering wheel, settings etc. I’m not sure if there is a software upgrade I could get without swapping actual radios.

uConnect app is only for 8.4 W/Nav or 12" Radios.
Non-Nav radios don't have LTE connectivity that is required for the app to communicate with the truck.
