Howdy all. On my new to me 2019 2500 BH (has surround view), when parking I have to manually engage the 360 cam for parking, moving forward. In reverse, the camera auto-engages just fine and works as expected. However, in forward it doesn't automatically turn on. This wouldn't be an issue since I can manually turn it on to park as close as possible, but the camera view on the 8.4 screen will turn off as soon as the EVIC radar enters a red zone. This isn't normal right?

Yes, it's normal. 360 view only works automatically in reverse. Also, FYI you might have better luck in the Homepage - HD Rams forum. This is the 5th Gen 1500 Rams site.
Thanks for the reply. I posted there a roughly a week ago but haven't picked up any traction. I figured I'd try my luck here since the system features should be similar. Should the camera be turning off before I complete the parking maneuver though?

Yes, it's timed and doesn't stay on forever. The 2024s I believe, have the feature to enable the forward camera when the parking sensors activate.
