U connect disappeared

I have a Samsung S8 and was having no problems using my U connect/ android auto. The icon suddenly disappeared and now i cannot get it back. i looked through all the settings on the 8.4 non nav radio.. i've only had my truck for a week. any tips?

Try reinstalling the app.

Are the USB ports working at all? Try another device, different phone, USB stick with music files on it.

My Android phone completely disappeared from UConnect a while back for no reason that I could figure. I just used the blue tooth to reinstall it and download all my information from my phone again and it worked fine. Mystery.
