Two-Tone paint on Laramie

A member asked me about my Delmonico Red/Billet Silver two-tone paint. He wanted some close up details on how the factory painted it because he apparently was thinking about having it done aftermarket. I thought others might want to see the details as well.

That would be Me . . . and I thank you . You've exceeded my expectations or lack of !? I have LEARNED something from this . . . especially the full side view ! Apparently, your Laramie did NOT get the Bumpers painted the same Billet Silver as the rest . Wondering . . . could it be because you maybe have a "chrome edition"? I ask once again because on the RAM Build & Price for the Laramie 2-tone the images SEEM to show the Bumpers are also Painted .
they clearly change color when NOT choosing the 2-tone ! ? . This concerns me because I DO want the Bumpers to be included in the 2-tone painting - not a fan of the chrome . All the other packages, such as Sport, give you a Full color change - no chrome, but the drawback is gonna only have the Black Interior, which I also do not like .
"Damn you RAM" . . . . . . what to do what to do ?
I could not find any other members 2-tone Laramie's yesterday to verify the bumper thing . . . anyone have it ? Photos please . Oh, to clarify, I am NOT wanting to do "aftermarket" - wanting the 2-tone From the Factory, as ordered .
But you bring up an interesting idea . . . if "push comes to shove" ! ? . MORE money spent needlessly ?

JustMe, I knew it was you. I thought I had sent you a message Monday morning telling you I had started this thread. The Laramie two-tone only comes with chrome bumpers. You mentioned something about green which is why I thought you were considering painting aftermarket. The member from Florida with the Patriot Blue/Billet Silver two-tone is Goatmann. I do not remember who is the member with the two-tone Delmonico Red/ Billet Silver like mine. Here are some more photos including a couple of interior shots.

Wow, this is a bummer. I too am looking at the Laramie for the two-tone paint options so the bumpers are painted rather than be chrome...I'm not a fan of so much chrome. But it seems as though the two tone paint does not end up painting the bumpers...maybe this has changed for the 2020 model year? Dr. Jim, yours is a 2019, right?

Better late than never but here's my 2020 Laramie two tone paint and chrome bumper.

Thanks @HoosierTrooper . I only wanted the two-tone if the bumpers matched. So I ended up fully embracing the chrome... with the blue & chrome. It was the only color where I didn't think the amount of chrome looked bad (regular amount... I didn't get the chrome package). It just looks like a good ol truck and hopefully in ten years I'll think the same.

I really went with the Laramie for the updated seats (reclining in the back), and the RamBox + MFT combined.

Sad that I just don't have anywhere to drive anymore.

I like the blue, my BIL has one. And I agree it’s tough having a new truck and nowhere to go in it! Plus it’s been really rainy around here so I can’t even wash it...
