two tone availability

I hear from my salesman that two tone with the walnut is not available. I had my heart set on black/brown combo on Laramie Longhorn fully loaded. Called to pull the trigger and was told that RAM is not doing the two tone. Called another dealer and was told the same thing. And it appears this has been known for about two weeks. So why is their build system still allowing you to configure that look?

A series of guesses:
- The people who build and maintain the website =/= the people building the trucks. Big disconnect.
- Even if they were able to get that changed on the site in 2 seconds, if it ran the risk of sending people to other brands for 2 tones? Would they do it? they would not. Particularly if there's a chance that such a truck is out there on a lot somewhere too.

I feel your frustration though man. Truck is an expensive purchase, I think you should get every last option you want, and put up with none that you don't!

The walnut two tone has been on hold for awhile. But there were some that made it. We have a white one in town. Some dealers have them too.

Ordering them was never really discussed as to why they stopped.

Build and price still says you can't build a v8 rwd. And many other things.

I guess the relative silence relates to few people picking this options which is fine by me as I think they look really sharp and it will make mine unique. Still I think they should own up to i on the config site.

Yes they are rare and unique so far, same reason I went with it!
