Turning lights off

It’s a paradox…just set the parking brake while you drive with the lights off

That would actually work before the electronic parking brake. I had a Chevy truck with daytime running lights and didn't want them on when driving through a field in the early AM hours when driving to a hunting stand. It had a foot controlled mechanical brake and I could just push it till in clicked once or twice and the lights turned out but it wasn't set enough to apply the parking brake.
