Hay , wonderin how I turn my automatic head lights off so I can drive with jus the led strips an fog lights , and are the led strips the drl ? This is how I want to be able to drive around with my truck in the pic

Should be a setting in the light settings menu in your radio. I have 12” screen and I can turn them off.

Led strip are not drl, turn drls off in menu then just use the headlights in manual.

Thw drl' are a low powered high beam.

Is the 12 inch screen the Tesla screen because if so I have the one size smaller than that

Yes the 12 inch screen is the large tesla looking screen, the drl setting can also be found in the 8.4 radio. Go to apps to setting to lights if I remember correctly. Someone may correct me but I don't believe the the 5" radio has ability to turn drl on/off.

In mine with the 8.4 only the drl lights can be disabled. The led lights are very very faint while driving around , not like the other brands I see on the road

Yep I went into my settings on my screen went into my lights but it doesn’t give me the option to disable it it just gives me like a paragraph and a description of the daytime runners and their use

Depends if you're in Canada or not. We unfortunately don't have the option to disable the low beam DRL because of our road laws. From what I gather the only way to do this is either with the AlfaOBD or Taser DT. There's other threads talking about this same thing so take a gander for more info if you like. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this.

On the US models, you can turn the DRLs off on the 5" screen trucks. I don't use the DRLs, but I leave my headlights in the auto position. I have a Tradesman.
