I have dark spots from sitting in the seat, and I’ve used the recommended cleaning method, and it does not come off. Does anybody have a method to help get the dirt off?IMG_0816.jpeg

Magic eraser will take it right out. soak it, ring it out and wipe it.

I used Woolite to clean my in laws 2003 Gran Marquis's leather. It had not been cleaned in years and came out looking great. Don't recall what ratio of water I used. Here is a link with more info. No visible damage/adverse effect from what I can see. This was also a 1 time use. Best wishes. I believe this has been discussed on the 5th gen forum.

I had the exact same issue on my Tungsten. It was dye off of a brown leather belt. I used Leathermasters Leather Dye Transfer Cleaner. Had to apply it a couple of times and let the cleaner work. Follow the directions carefully - I was worried about damaging the seat. It removed most of the stain, but if I look closely I can still see a "shadow" of it. I think mine was darker than yours and went across the entire back of the seat.

I then treated the seats with Leathermasters Protection Creme to try to prevent this in the future.

Hope this helps and you get your seat cleaned up.

So you would use sandpaper to clean it? Because that's essentially what a Magic Eraser is. No, you should not use one on leather.

Reminds me of a post I made about 4 years ago, when they introduced the Sea Salt Indigo interior for the 10th anniversary Limiteds.

Nothing wrong with a light leather interior if it's regularly cleaned and protected. The cloth is a a bit more risky though.

I'd start with some sort of leather cleaner and a microfiber towel, but may need a brush if that doesn't work:

I have done it, and continue to do it on leather without issue. To each their own.

OP asked how to get stains out mentioning he’s already tried recommended methods without success.

This is what you want to use to clean your leather: MOPAR TOTAL CLEAN I use it on my RAM and in my 530i BMW with almost white interior. It won't strip the clear coat off the leather like some leather cleaners. It works very well.
