Fabrication is what I do. Sorry I wasnt very clear. Sometime around June I am hoping to be able to devote the time to fabricate brackets to attach the hooks. They will be solid recovery points. No, they will not directly mount unless you fab it to fit, it's a completely different hitch system. They would look nice though, I understand wanting them for that.
However, if you just need a recovery point, I recommend instead you get a shackle hitch receiver, they are $30 bucks or so and can be removed when not needed. Probably stronger as well.

That is correct. It would bolt up to the factoey receiver hitch points. That's awesome! So a bracket system that you can design and fabricate for sale? I'm sure there would be a lot of takers for that.

So why not switch to the whole hitch setup with the hooks?
That would be odd... just the sheer manufacturing cost to make a separate frame for what is essentially an options package is crazy. But who knows maybe your right.
Alrighty then... interesting
Bolt patterns and mounting are likely different. If my design works it will also be a lot less expensive to buy the brackets. So why not switch to the whole hitch setup with the hooks?
Would your kit be brackets to mount the factory TRX tow hooks to standard RAM tow hitches? If yes, take my money. I've got the hooks, but the hitch isn't available yet.Bolt patterns and mounting are likely different. If my design works it will also be a lot less expensive to buy the brackets.
Yes, my idea would be a bracket kit and the factory TRX hooks would mount to the brackets. I'd be very interested to see if the receivers for the two trucks are interchangable. I'd be surprised if they are but hey they've surprised me before. Either way, the brackets I plan on making will save people time and money of having to replace a receiver hitch they already have.Would your kit be brackets to mount the factory TRX tow hooks to standard RAM tow hitches? I've seen the TRX hitch up close and compared to my Rebel. Even the online diagrams shown them to be almost identical. The major difference is where the mounting tabs are welded in for the hooks.
Would much rather purchase the brackets from you and help you with your business. I appreciate it!! I was going to make them when I was done with my other prototypes but I think I may bump them up on the list before I pull my factory bumper off. I have a good friend with a 2021 Rebel but it's much easier to use my truck as opposed to borrowing his for a day.Would much rather purchase the brackets from you and help you with your business.
