1st time posting, I have a 2019 ram 1500 5.7, looking to get something bigger and going to put a turbo in it and give it to my wife.

I’m undecided on if I should get the TRX or the Cummins 2500. I have 3 kids they all fit easily in the ram now but the Megacab looks huge. I go off-roading and eventually will have stuff to haul as well. I don’t think it would be heavy enough to require a 2500 tho. Ive always been interested in the TRX but now that I am finally able to get a bigger truck the Cummins has been standing out to me as well. Looking for some pros and cons to both and what makes one better than the other in multiple categories. Thanks.

They are both two very different trucks from different purposes. As far as cab sizes the 5th gen club cab on the TRX is actually bigger than the mega cab on the 2500s, which still use the old 4th gen cabs.

Any other comparison is kind of pointless because, as already mentioned, they are two very different trucks, built for very different purposes

Given that the TRX isn’t made anymore, you should look into the RHO. Unless you really want the 6.2L V8

If "stuff to haul" will require a trailer, get the Cummins. There are too many threads in the towing forum where by the time you load up the family, you've hit the GVW and there is nothing left for the trailer. When they call a 1500 a half-ton, they aren't kidding.
