Owner of the 2020 Ram 1500 night edition.
Just had truck rev up to 6000 rpm coming out of a side road into oncoming traffic and truck was not moving. Truck has just turned 900 miles. Very scary. Not very happy right now.
Anybody have that happen to them?

Are you sure you didn't just hit the gear selector switch on the steering wheel and lock it in first gear? I've accidentally did that a couple times. Freaks you out when you're trying to accelerate and the engine immediately starts to redline lol.

Or are you saying it was more like sitting in Neutral (unable to move at all)?

Hmm. Don't think I did but I see where that could happen. Only thing is my hands where on the steering wheel at 10 and 2 ready to turn.

It was still moving but very slow. It does sound like it was in a very low gear. I did pull over and turned the truck off and back on. It remedied the problem till I got home I was only half a mile away so it didn't do it again.
I shall have to watch out for it again.
Thanks Maconi.
