I have a 19’ 1500 w/ 5.7 etorque, 48k miles on it. My ac is blowing some nice warm air unfortunately on all settings. There is a weird spinning mechanical noice when I turn on the ac.

Anything simple I should check before dropping it off at the dealer?

A/C or other pully siezed up causing the belt to squeel?

The compressor pulley is not turning in the engine bay when the truck is running. The clutch hasn’t told it to turn on.
There is no squeal at all from it.

I have an appointment for Tuesday. 2.5 weeks for a drop off day is definitely not a good start for the dealer…. If I want a loaner I was told it was a few months wait. Thankfully my dad doesn’t drive much, so I have been driving his Tacoma because it’s been 90+ out and that’s not fun with no AC.
