I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Hemi with the 3.92
Rear ended and towing package. We are looking at towing our 36foot travel trailer out west to the mountains. I am not too worried about getting up the mountains but more so getting down. Does anyone have any tips on what to do to get down so I don’t heat the brakes up and head down too fast. The trailer is about 8500lbs.

I pull a 32' TT at about 8500 lbs... had to set the brake output to the higher electric setting in the dash (I think it says 10000 or above in the manual) the tow haul mode does a decent job of downshift for you on hills when you tap the brakes. The other option is to set the gear limit at 6 or so and just take it slow....
