Transmission stuck in gear!!

I had something weird happen this morning. After I stopped at the store to get a coffee. I noticed my truck was running between 3 & 4 thousand rpms at 25 to 35 mph. Then I noticed that it was stuck in 3 gear. The bottom of the screen had a 3 & 3+ showing. So at the next light I put the truck in park and when I shifted back to drive everything worked fine. Also, I was not in tow haul mode. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

You hit the gear shift on the steering wheel I believe

The +/- buttons on the steering wheel (right side, under your thumb) will restrict the maximum gear... you likely hit one of these when you were in 3rd/4th gear.
