Transmission shift points

It is in Auto mode, under light acceleration it has noticeable hesitation then it kicks in.
Mine does not have that issue, but I put K&N drop in filter when I bought the truck, the 2nd day I had it. Wonder if just Air filter maybe the issue?

Thanks I will give it a try! Was thinking about doing the K&N cold air intake?

I am having the same issues.
My update on this issue...
Drove the truck the other day and things were smooth as silk!!! I actually thought something was wrong. It's nice that it shifts like it should after a years worth of jerkyness.
Must have been an over the air update?? How does one know if I did get an update?
Was getting ready to take to dealer for thoughts, but if they can't duplicate it ain't broken!!

I have having the same issues and the dealer is saying the same thing. Do we know if it'll be an over the air update?

I just wish there was a manual shift option.. pretty much every truck I've owned over the past 10 years has had a way to manually change gears.. I have a 26 Bighorn Hurricane with the JB4 installed and man the tranny just doesn't seem to know when to shift bouncing off the rev limiter killing my acceleration.. one would think the TCU would be smarter than that.. that's in any drive mode as well..

Any updates ? I am having the same issue

Just got back from the dealer for an oil change. Yes, I could’ve done it myself but it’s cold and snowy and I don’t have a garage.

Told them about the tranny and they did a couple updates.

“Calibration 2025 DT 3.0L TCM 4X4 3.92AR
ECU is up-to-date Successfully flashed ECU from old part number 68640593AE to current part number 68640593AF”

“Recall rrt-25-239 2025 DT BCM NAFTA Successfully flashed ECU from old part number 68542599AN to current part number 68542599AQ
18-19-17-z1 .2
18-18-17-z2 1”

We’ll see if that does anything over the next couple days.
