Transmission plastic pan protection with built in catalytic converter shield.. Always wanted to protect the plastic transmission pan. Just got a new cat assy from the dealer because they crushed mine. Took 3 months fighting with dealership to prove that they lowered my truck down on my cat.
New cat assy is over $5,000. So decide to build cat theft prevention that also protects the transmission. I have the ORP so have skid plates on everything else. Added some more material to stock ORP skids as well.

Nice job for DIY project. There are aftermarket products that offer better coverage. I have the @VICE design front skid plate, and Skeerdykat has a mid-skid plate to cover catalytic converter and transmission that another member just posted an install video of.

Those are both nice plates. I wanted more theft deterrent. I like the open design under transmission pan for access and no mud accumalation

Idiots at dealer. Back in 2000 I had my 99 Dakota at dealer from transmission work. The tech doing work started to back my truck off the lift with the drivers side door open and tweaked the hinges and creased inside door panel. Then didn't even say anything about it to anyone. Had to call service manager out to my truck when I picked it up to show him. Two weeks later I get my truck back again with new hinges and inside door panel after they ordered the wrong parts initially
