Transmission gear indicator

Is there a way to keep the transmission gear numbers next to the odometer without having to press the press the button each time I get in?

Yes. It is somewhere in the dash sreen menu. I forget exactly where but it is easy to find.

Page 162 in the manual.
Go to screen setup, then look for “Current gear” default state is off.

I think that was the default setting for my new truck, I think that is pretty neat!
