Trans down shifting delay

2019 1500 5.7 7 speed transmission- won’t down shift from 3rd to second to first until complete stop. Anyone else have this problem?

2021 Rebel with 8 speed trans and I have the same issue. When slowing to a stop sign, the trans shifts down to 3rd and hangs. If I apply throttle, the trans slams into 2nd or 1st based on speed. The truck shouldn't still be in 3rd or 4th gear at 5mph, but mine is.

That’s exactly what I’m going through, I have an appointment with ram on Tuesday , hoping for the best the tech thought it might be a sticky seleniod

I am following this. I too feel my transmission stays in 3rd gear too long when downshifting as I am coming to a stop. Is it possible to"retrain" the transmission??

I had a similar experience with my 2020 about 3 years ago. Dealer upgraded software and it resolved it for a few years but downshifts are a bit harder now. Not as back as before though. Probably some learned algorithm based on my driving???

At lease with the throttle delay. I have one but have yet to install it.
