Trailer Tow Trip Meter

Quick question...how does the trip meter know you are towing a trailer??

When you turn on ‘Tow Mode’ the tow mileage meter starts running (and the auto detect trailer blind spot warning will activate If you have that feature and have it ‘on”)

When I connect my boat and start the truck, it will appear on dash "Trailer connected" or something like that. It senses when you have a trailer plugged in.

Never used the 4 way. Not sure
