Trailer T harness

Has anyone used a T harness like this with good results? I have a wild hair up my 4th point to put led lights in the eyes of this and I want to make them run off my running/turn signals. Really just need to know if it's good or junk from personal experience. I crawled under and took a look and it looks like it will fit.

I have one that's been on my 3500 for abouy six years and haven't had any issues
