Trailer Light Check Button Does Nothing

Me too. 2024 Rebel. Some days the light check and "trailer gauges" work, most days they don't. 2000 miles on the truck. I'll be taking it in as soon as possible.

Yup! 2023 Ram 1500 Laramie and I have the same issue. I've mentioned it to the dealer, "nothing we can do". It's unbelievable RAM doesn't have a site where Users can log software bugs.

I have another bug that's even worse: I'll be driving down the road and all of a sudden the A/C, defrost & heat go on at the same time, temp is 75% on heat, fan on high. I have to pull over and reboot the truck. UNBELIEVABLE!

I have that same bug, posted on it a few months back. I have had it happen about three times now and only way to get it to give me control back is to shut the truck off.

Also tried light check yesterday and doesn’t work like was shown. When you press the button it flashes and acts like it recognizes you pressed the button but nothing happens.

Also towing to the track this morning and home this afternoon the blind spot never detected the trailer. Never got the trailer icon on the dash.

I was having the same issue and continued trying until I got it to work with the 7 Pin. And how was that? Well, I did it while I was changing the trailers tail lights WITHOUT the truck turned on. yeah. Worked perfectly. Why? NO DAMN CLUE!!! But with truck on....Nothing. Truck off and just hit the start button for the media center to come on and POOF! All working.

So truck not run but ignition on and it works? If I am interpreting what you are saying correctly.
