I just about got my 1500 lone star edition paid off and I'm trading it in for a 2022 2500 Laramie edition with heated and cool seats already has a e-break we travel from Texas to New Jersey every summer towing a 27 ft 6,500 LBS travel trailer and quite a few trips from San Antonio to the Texas coast. My 1500 would get 9 mpg in a headwind and inclines got tried of it and now with a diesel my mpg should be a little better. I'm also dealing with a bad back and the Laramie edition seems like it will be more comfortable. Will let you know how it goes

The HD's are still running the 4th gen cab and seat components. While the interior was updated to resemble the 5th gen, the seat frames did not change and are not as adjustable as the 5th gen. Hope it works out for you.

You will love the exhaust brake.

Lots to learn about your new truck over on the HDRAMS forums.
