My company gives us a vehicle allowance...the perk. $700 a month, a fuel card and basic maintenance is covered.

Stipulation is that it can only be 6 years old or 200k miles.

My 21 Rebel still fits the bill. As I would not have to replace it until the end of 2027. But it's getting some miles as I already have 139k miles. I drive a lot .

Can't decide rather to go ahead and replace with a newer Rebel a lightly used 25 model with 30k miles or wait.

My 21 is a non E-torque and has been a great truck. Next service I plan on doing plugs, rear diff service.

What would you guys do if payment was practically being paid. Risk putting more miles on the hemi and wait a little longer to join the Hurricane crowd or go ahead and jump the boat.

Wait until the end of 2027 until you have to replace it. Regardless you’re getting that $700 each month, no need to prematurely jump the gun if your current truck is trouble free. Regardless sounds like you put miles on it might as well do the next truck a favor when it comes to the miles limit by waiting until closer to end of that 6 year mark.

I wouldn’t trade it until you have to, but I’m partial to the non etorque Hemi.

I’ve seen several people never have a issue with the etourque but the ones who have had issues looks to be a nightmare.
How is this a question? :) In your own opinion you're driving a great truck. Put the $700/month into an S&P 500 ETF and save for a rainy day.
Well since I inherited the allowance after I bought this extra is just paying my truck off within the next year and a half. After that I may have to upgrade or just not take the allowance since it’s money coming in and going out.
I would hold on to your 21.
I love my 21 non etourque. It has everything I wanted. A pano roof would be cool but other than that. I never want to part with it. Even if the motor went at 200k plus I would be tempted to build a mold cam 5.7 or do a 392 swap lol.

That's exactly my point. When etorque works it's fine, but when issues come up which require a new MGU or 48v battery module it's a nightmare for sure.

I've owned two 5th gens with etorque. A 2020 for 18 months and a 2021 for 2 years. Never any problems with either truck, but I didn't really own them long enough. When downsizing in 2023 we needed to decide between two Limited's we owned...a 2020 without etorque and a 2021 with etorque. Mileage was very low on both. Even though the 2021 had a couple extra things (HUD and digital rear view mirror) we decided to keep the 2020 because it didn't have etorque. I don't think we made a bad choice. :)

First off...where can I get a job like that? Second....I would personally wait, as the key phrase from your post is that it is a great truck with mileage getting up there. I think wringing all the value you can out of a truck before moving on is always a great idea. Plus, you may find a model or trim you didnt think about come up later on this year. I wouldn't wait until the end of 2027, but maybe this year.
