How is the road noise?
Reasonable. Pretty quiet for about 5k miles then you can hear them slightly. Louder than the OE Falkens but nothing like a mud. Tire noise is so subjective; some will think they are loud, some will hardly notice.

recently put the AT3 305/45/22 on my 21 Limited. Could not be more happy with the look and ride. 1000% improvement over stock. no lift minor trimming of wheel well at full turn. View attachment 98392 View attachment 98393 View attachment 98394

Looks great!!

How about road feel...I want more sidewall, like the look, but debating between 275/50/22 and 305/45.

For me, the Goodyears transmit bumps and such a good amount.

Any difference going with wider tire?

wider tire feels more planted to the ground and in my opinion looks a lot better (more aggressive). the 305/45 have the same size sidewall as the 275/50 both 5.4" both have same height but the 275 is 1.2" thinner of a tire. Lastly the toyo does not come in 275 what brand are yuo looking at? it is a strange size most do not offer

glad you guys are happy with yours. i have a set that are about 6 months old and i find the road noise to be way more than i expected. fair bit of vibration as well. not the case with you guys or it just doesn't bother you for the high performance off road that you get?
what size? I am running 305/45/22 @ 38 PSI cold. Zero road noise and great ride on back roads and highway

The Michelin Defender LTX and the Pirelli Scorpion AS3 come in 275 50 22.

Neither an AT tire.

I may give the 305 a shot...was thinking Ridge Grappler at first but a lot of good feedback on the Toyos.

I was also looking at the Nitto but after a lot of research the Toyo have far superior rain and snow traction and are rated to 50K miles. not sure if you get snow or a lot of rain but that was a deal breaker. Nitto has no mile warranty at all and are about $100 tire more.

Did you have any effect on MPG’s? @Rmazzei
hard to say because I put a Borla S-type exhaust and a Ram cold air on at te same time. I can say with all three my MPG increased by 2 (so it got better). Also I did not recalibrate the speedometer so based upon larger tire conversion I am running about 3-4 miles per hour faster then the Speedo is showing (60-80 MPH) so i am sure that is impacting somewhere. Bottom line is when you buy a Ram with a Hemi you go into it knowing your not getting good gas mileage. If thats a concern get the V6 diesel or buy a Ford. Truck is 100% better with the mods I did and I am happy. the 33 gallon fuel take was the best option I added.

HAHA nah I'll stick to the Hemi. Almost went diesel on the Silverado High Country I was going to buy, but glad I didn't. Yeah I totally get the buying a Hemi isn't the best in fuel. Not trying to set records, just don't want my MPG's to drop 4-5 per mile from what some people are reporting. Now I wish I would have gotten the bigger fuel tank. :|

“OUTSTANDING”. Had new AT3’s installed. Last week to a vacation to Panama City Beach ,Fl. ( w/family ) Drove I-65 out of Indiana , Driving 70 to “ well fast”. No noise , no vibration , outstanding handling ! Rained in Tennessee , no problems ! Great traction! great gas mileage. I can get 18 around here . I average 15.7 mpg on highway, but that‘s getting into “The 🐎 “ . “ I mean what’s a HEMI for ? “. Left going up SR.81 , 2 lane road. Down pouring rain, no it’s used, Superb traction , no hydroplaning. “ Great tires, could not have been happier with my purchase”
What size tire u got and is it stock or leveled

I almost went with those, they get really good reviews. I opted for the Goodyear Agilis Crossclimate's, they're more of a road pattern but I was really surprised how deep the tread cut is on them. IMG_20210720_151138417.jpg

Maybe I’m in the minority but I put these on my truck and have had them on for around 35k miles and they are terrible in the rain. Very little road noise and good in other conditions but on wet pavement they are scary.

2021 limited with air ride - Wanted more sidewall since this is my wifes truck and has tore the sidewall of 2 rear tires on 2 different trucks… So put on a 285/55/22 and i love how it looks and rides now. Unfortunately though? the LCA rubs the knuckle at lock and the grinding metal on metal just feels like its gonna get f’d up over time.
Tl;dr 285/55/22 rub metal on metal.

Curious, how is the LCA rubbing against the knuckle at lock? Guess I am not seeing how this is happening with a bigger sidewall on the tire? I'm running 285/50/22s and get minor tire to inner lining rub but nothing else.

Its sorta why I posted because I have no idea why more sidewall would cause it to grind at that angle. Should i take a video of going lock to lock. I wish it was just plastics rubbing because that’s negligible compared to the feeling when i hear it grind while turning .

Quick question which is problem a stupid one, I’m about to order from discount tire. My plan was to go with the stock size 275/55/20 so I didn’t have to deal with recalibrating my Speedo but that size is XL rated where the 275/60/20 is SL rated. I assume the SL rated will give me a better ride? Any opinions are appreciated.
