Today had to tow my tractor Kubota Grand L4760 15 miles to dealer for some work. Was shocked at fuel economy on Interstate going 68 mph 5-8 mpg and with the 5.7 and 3.92 gears it mostly stayed in 6th gear going in 7th for short periods. The Hemi sounds good under a moderate load, but needs rpm.
Do others see similar fuel economy?IMG_0136.jpeg

I tow my 7k (loaded) travel trailer and usually get 8 mpg my previous Rams and even my previous F150 with the 2.7 got 11 mpg regularly. My 22 Ram has 3:21 and 5.7 (non etorque)

That checks out. If you would have taken it down to 55-60 you probably would have seen an improvement. With my 5k camper and 3.21's, I can get 10-13 if I'm taking it easy, depending on wind and hills.

Towing 15 miles will tell you little on actual mpg imho. I tow 7k# enclosed car hauler 10k+ miles yearly and average 10 mpg @ 65-67. Towing uphill or into the wind will reduce mileage. 3.92, non-etorque
