Tow Hook Inserts

I initially saw these on a 2500, and have searching for a part number to research comparability but can’t find it anywhere.

What I’m looking for is the insert that fits behind the tow hooks so there isn’t an open space. I have attached a photo off the internet for reference.

Appreciate any help!

Do you have tow hooks there now? And are just trying to fill the empty space? If so, might be able to find a used set from someone that added aftermarket tow hooks. I did but pretty sure I tossed the solid trims. I’ll double check for you tho.

I’m looking at the oem version that has the bezels, but the 2500s have a black piece that goes behind the hooks so you don’t see any space behind the hooks

yea, I don't think they make the insert for the 1500 and hole shape is different than the 2500 so it wouldn't fit. The only thing you could do is use a Dremel to cut holes in the covers that come on trucks without tow hooks.

I thought about that actually, I may be an extra set when I pick up the tow hooks and see if I can get something to look clean

Those look nice. But I’m not sure the bezel size for the Rebel/TRX is the same used on Laramie or Big Horn bumpers. But at that price, it might be worth giving it a try. Nice find man!!!

Well I can verify that the 68274703AA will not work on a 2024 Laramie. The top bezel in the pic is what was on the truck and the bottom bezel is the 68274703AA which is smaller in size and does not have the round stub outs on the bottom for mounting. They will absolutely not work. I ordered the 68274703AA as they were the only ones showing up in the parts list on 4 different vendor sites for the 2024 Laramie but they are wrong. I think the key in the description from moparpartsunlimited.com is the Rebel/TRX style bumper.

I am going to assume that the only ones that will fit non Rebel/TRX are the 68274701AB which appears from the pics online to be the same mounting as my originals especially with the bottom stub outs. I guess I will have to try the 4701AB.

I contacted the vendor that I got the 4703AA from to get the correct part number for the 2024 Laramie and they said they could not look it up with my VIN since the truck did not originally come with the tow hooks so they could no longer help me. Not very helpful at all.

I don't think there are any bezels that will close the hole up unless you make them yourself as was suggested earlier in the thread.

I recently installed these tow hooks and they came with the bezel surround. I tried to go with a carbon fiber one but that did not fit my 2021 ram 1500 big horn built to serve edition. Some photos attached for reference. https://a.co/d/7vKifDE
