Looks dang identical too. I might’ve gone with the the Smittybilt if I’d seen it first but I do like the rebar look of it and better footing.I have had one similar on mine since the day I bought my Rebel. Mines the Smittybilt one called the beaver step.
Maybe if you have horse legs But in all seriousness the gate extends well beyond so I'd say it's a no.Question, with the tailgate down are you still able to use the step ?
No. That step would have to stick out pretty far.Question, with the tailgate down are you still able to use the step ?
Well I got it mainly to help keep tailgaters off my rear but then again their are some really stupid people out there that could care less if they get too close. The step that fits into the hitch is good, but with the tailgate down is useless. You should get the Bed Step from AMP Research, it will cost about $270 plus about $50 to have it installed, but is one of the best things to add!
Amp Research BedStep (19-20 RAM 1500)
Item R110525
I don’t know about it being that small, it might look that way in the pic but I’ll guarantee it’ll do some damage to a plastic bumper cover. That's funny...it's a little too small for that, but a good idea!
