I picked up this hitch step from Amazon just recently. It does have some minor rock side to side but that can be fixed pretty easily. It is definitely solid and I wouldn’t want to hit. Just thought I’d share a few pics of it. F3C024D8-E115-4440-810E-868C42900DA6.jpegCCA62823-D662-4AFD-8322-730AD851C16F.jpeg

I have had one similar on mine since the day I bought my Rebel. Mines the Smittybilt one called the beaver step.

Looks dang identical too. I might’ve gone with the the Smittybilt if I’d seen it first but I do like the rebar look of it and better footing.

The step that fits into the hitch is good, but with the tailgate down is useless. You should get the Bed Step from AMP Research, it will cost about $270 plus about $50 to have it installed, but is one of the best things to add!

Amp Research BedStep (19-20 RAM 1500)

Well I got it mainly to help keep tailgaters off my rear but then again their are some really stupid people out there that could care less if they get too close.
