I left Total Chaos Fabrication today as a Research and Development partner. See pics below for Ram 1500 Air Suspension Upper Control Arms. Articulation for 1.5-3” kits, accommodates 37” tires and full clearance at full droop! Lots of performance air ride parts on the horizon! Follow my Instagram for updates at @the_rebel_voyager.

From what I’ve seen on mine and an air ride now, these “should” work on all 1500s. There isn’t much, if ANY, change in the front end between air ride and non. Nice set up though! I’ve always been a fan of TCF for their LT Toyota kits. Hopefully they have plans to make LT DT kits……..

So what benefits do you get from putting a after market upper control arm?

Allows for further articulation/droop without binding up the ball joint. Also takes up some suspension slop when using larger wheels and tires

When you have a lifted/level truck the angle on the factory UCAs can cause binding depending on the height of the lift. In the case of the air suspension truck, the factory arms can actually come in contact with the airbag on down travel, especially in the upper ride height positions. This corrects the geometry and improves ride quality. Also allows you to keep the truck in factory alignment specs.
