As title says, I'm torn. 2021 Laramie with OEM 22" wheels. Bilstein 5100's on their way with ORP. Keeping stock UCA, but willing to add Bora wheel spacers. I like the thought extra width of 295's but not sure if I'm overthinking things. Is there much of a visual difference between the 2 sizes? I understand the 285 will work with no issues, so may be the safest route. Don't want any regrets.

I’m purchasing 285/55/22 Falken WildPeak A/T4W in a few months.

This site will give you a comparison of those sizes Tire Size Comparison

I'm on the Bils 5100 set at 2.1". I just swapped my Nitto Ridge Grapplers which were 33x12.5x22 for Hankook DynaPro AT2s in a size 305/45/22 which is an XL-rated, lighter tire. Size-wise, I can't tell any difference. Ride quality-wise, but better both smoother and quieter. I also was having a vibration issue with my Nittos that I couldn't figure out which was my main reason for getting rid of them. Just throwing this out there if it helps you at all.

Getting a set of 285/55/22 next month

I’m deciding between the Toyo OC AT3’s, and the Falken WP At4w’s both in 285/55/R22. Are you still impressed with the Falkens? Did you look between those two at all? They seem pretty equally expensive, heavy, and capable to me so far.

I can tell you I switched from LT285/60/20 Toyo OC AT3’s to P305/55/20 Falken AT4W and the wet traction of the Falken is light years better.
Different size, LT vs P, lots of verbals…..but I’m super happy with the Falkens.

My top three were the Toyo, Mickey Thompson & Falken, but narrowed it down to Toyo & Falken. I’m very satisfied with the Falken AT4 after a few thousand miles so far.

Awesome, thanks - I just went with the Falken AT4s in 285/55/r22 today. Did you also do your spare? I just tried to fit the falken 285/75/r18 on my OEM spare under the bed and it rubs between the tow hitch and sway bar linkage so I’m trying the 285/70/18 tomorrow. The 70 will be ~1” smaller in diameter than the other 4 though, so not ideal.
