On the great Mexican highway this morning, I had a TRX pass me up. It took a few minutes for traffic to slow him down enough that I caught up to him at my normal pace on this stretch. Then he got a clear lane and laid into it. Damn it sounded good.
Of course, I had to do the same being the "little brother" and all. Surprisingly from 60-85 he didn't pull much length. Then he encountered another group of cars driving side by side. When they moved he laid into it again, so did I.
Here's the hard to believe part...I hung with him all the way up to the limiter. I guess all that horsepower goes out the window when you are lifted on huge heavy tires.
No doubt he'd kill me from a dig, but from a 65 roll with letting him have the move, it was a wash.
Now that I'm safely back in Texas, I feel pretty dang good.
