Question, there seem to be a lot of these on the dealers lots around here. Most are equipped like someone lost their minds with almost everything that they can get. Now I’m not knocking them as my last Ram was one and I loved it. But then again my last one was nowhere near as loaded to the gills as the 2019 are. Is there a reason why you grabbed a loaded BigHorn as opposed to a Limited / Laramie ?

This was my old truck in one of many of its variations lol.

Big Horn is the volume trim, no surprise that they have the largest presence on lots. Production is probably favoring loaded Big Horns now, as those looking for cheaper may be tempted by 2018 models and 2019 Ram Classics. But even then I have seen plenty of lightly optioned ones as well.

Edit: I'll also add that incentives are greater on the Big Horn. That is a common reason why many go for a loaded Big Horn over a lightly loaded Laramie. MSRP may be similar, but out the door price favors the Big Horn.

You can get cloth interior in the Bighorn, you can't in the Laramie. For me that was a requirement.

The only reason I can think of to get a Bighorn loaded up with everything would be if you really prefer the cloth seats, otherwise the higher trims would probably be the way to go. Even very lightly optioned my Bighorn/Lonestar is a really nice truck, the interior is first rate and it has the same drivetrain and quiet ride as a Limited. All I added was Level 1 equipment, 33 gal. fuel tank, tow package, wanted to keep payload as high as possible for towing and accomplished that with an 1,804 payload on my quad cab. Not a super fancy truck, but then I only paid 32K.

I like those wheels, what kind are they?

I guess I should ATTEMPT to stay on topic... I started with a BigHorn for cost, but eventually slowly but surely optioned myself into a Laramie. If you can control your option urges though you can get into a 2019 BH for several thousand lower than Laramie and still have a dang nice truck.

To your point, yes if you heavily option it go up to the Laramie!
