Tomtom launches frequently and sporadically

I just got my third 5th Gen, a 2023 Limited 1500. The tomtom maps sporadically try to load even when you aren't using Nav. When they do load, it just takes a few minutes and they will try and load again. I don't need or want this Tomtom service and it is really annoying having to constantly switch it back to the screen I was looking at. I can't find any way to disable it. I don't know if it is losing signal constantly and then trying to relaunch or what, but it's annoying.
